well well well. miss kelly stepped up her game and made it onto the divameter. ok fine, she was helped out tons by being a friend of beyonce and being at the wedding, but she also released a video and has been doing promo in the uk (because the uk apparently doesn't have beyonceitis). anyway, she lands the bottom spot this week.



4. madonna - 90
madonna is also on her promo push and gets props for the video, but gets docked for it being ::yawn::

this girl is everywhere (i told you so!). i love her voice so much that i will ignore the fact that she looks like a creature straight out of narnia...beautiful yet strangely featured...

how did it feel to have a number 1 album? oh and yes, oprah bumped her a hefty 40 points up.

ok so just to keep it real. yes, i was watching the tmz live feed. yes, i managed to get inside deets, and yes these two are really married. no doubt. NOW. why? WHY THE RANDOMNESS? well, clearly bee was tired of madonna and mariah's insane promo runs...

ok, yes, i'm so happy for them. she deserves it. i just wish she wouldn't let him continue to play her by not announcing their marriage.

but even a wedding can't land beyonce the top spot in the face of MARIAH ON FIRE. um, i'm already obsessed with the album. it's definitely my summer sh*t. um, she was on oprah, her promo is on point, she's mad skinny, the album is fire, oh did i mention the album is fire. she has been nonstop NONSTOP.

i love you mimi. there's no one i'd rather have at the top this week. and yes, 285 is divameter HISTORY.

2. Side Effects (sounds like it could DEF be mashed with love in the club!...plus i'm kinda obsessed with jeezy right now)

4. Love Story (just sooooo sweet plus i mean she says A BAY BAY)
5. I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time (omg the instrumental and melody are PERFECT. also, you can see the original direction of the album, sounds more like the leaked track "i feel it.")
6. Last Kiss (crazy melody, classic melody by far my FAVORITE TRACK ON THE ALBUM)
7. I Wish You Well (i mean, she teamed with James Poyser again ("Mine Again") but it's like "Fly Like a Bird" with the church chord progressions. She always ends slow and I love it.

um side note, is the intro for "for the record" the music for that annoying m by mariah carey commercial?? yet i find myself oddly intrigued by it...i'll probably LOVE it in four months. totally early 90s. and i mean. she whistles.
