the material girl makes a splash onto the divAmeter this week. we got a title for her upcoming album - hard candy and we were also lucky enough to get a leak. couple this with cute shots of her running the show at gucci, etc. and even cuter shots of her with her babes, and she's definitely gearing up for battle in april.

even though i am nervous to see j.lo's little iguana babies (don't act like you've never thought that marc anthony looks like some kind of lizard), i am happy for her new bundles - max and emme. the names are tame too! it's like a mini blessing that they aren't named like oranjello and lemonjello, don't you think?
3. amy winehouse - 155
amy struts her way into third place with a performance at the brit awards and generally keeping her peace. i'm just happy that she's out and about, playing live shows (a huge plus), plus post-grammys she skyrocketed back up the chart to number 3! only a true diva can do that.
2. rihanna - 200
tink just won't stop. and she truly would have had a handy victory this week had she not had the fiercest competition from our number 1. this girl plopped a new man on us, circulated thru paris fashion week, performed at the brit awards, rocked her new hair cut, and fresh off her grammy win continued to show us why we love her. i have to give it to her. she really has a knack for being talked about, and for things of genuine interest.
1. janet - 265
but no one was a match this week for vintage diva - janet jackson. janet jackson spun around on her promo tour, hitting up the morning shows and even showing larry king a lil somethin on larry king live. but yeah, her promo boat is definitely afloat. and she takes the top spot this week!
